Chairs of Local Governing Body –
Nash College and Victoria Education Centre
Voluntary with expenses
Location: Bromley and Poole

Livability is the UK’s largest Christian disability charity. We empower disabled and disadvantaged people to live life to the full. Special education is a cornerstone of our work and at Nash College and Victoria Education Centre (VEC), we enable students with profound learning and other disabilities to achieve their educational ambitions. As Chair of one of the educational centre’s Local Governing Bodies (LGB), you’ll have the chance to make a real impact on the educations centre’s performance – and the future of hundreds of disabled students.

In this highly rewarding role, you will lead the LGB and, working with Livability’s director of operations and the education centre management team, ensure the education centre provides the highest standards of teaching, learning and well-being for every learner. Under your leadership, the LGB will challenge, support, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the education centre. With these challenges in mind, we are looking for a senior leader who will not only live our Christian values, but demonstrate a successful track record in their field. A good appreciation of special needs education and developing an understanding of the unique role of the Livability Local Governing Body are vital.

If you’re ready to support the vision and direction of this exceptional education centre, and want to find out more or apply, please either:
