Livability Kenway Court is a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea. The service supports people with intellectual and physical disabilities. People who live at Kenway Court have wide individual choice, with active support from staff. Our service offers nursing support to those with complex needs.
We take a person-centred, flexible approach. We know that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different – that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life.
With the people who use our services, we create bespoke care and support plans that give people choice and control over their own lives. Livability Kenway Court is a service that focuses on prevention, offering specialist nursing care onsite and is part of a network of services in Southend. Also in the area are Livability Southend and Livability Dolphin Court.
Our prevention model means that if people aren’t ready to go straight home or back to supported living from hospital, we can be there to offer nursing care until the person is ready.
With an active network of supporting services and community partners, people who live at Livability Kenway Court can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities in the local area. The home is well situated, within easy reach of the town centre, seafront, parks, library, museum, cinema, theatre and more. The area is served by a good train service, with train services to London and the surrounding area.
Our dedicated and professional team members are carefully chose for their skills and compassion. They have extensive experience of empowering people to live the life they want to live.
Staff include support staff, domestic and laundry staff, nurses, administrator, catering team, maintenance staff and lifestyle workers.
