Livability says a big Christmas ‘thank you’

Staff at Livability’s National Office got their Christmas spirit on this week by taking part in the charity’s annual telethon, ahead of Giving Tuesday on 2 December.

Teams at National Office, whose work underpins the care and support Livability’s services provide for disabled children and adults, called dozens of supporters to thank them and share Christmas greetings.

Mark Docherty, Head of Individual Giving says ‘This was Livability’s opportunity to simply say thank you to all the amazing people who have supported us throughout the year – you are making a real difference to disabled people’s lives by supporting Livability.’

Supporters told staff how much they enjoyed hearing from Livability, with some asking for more information on how they can support specific projects or sign up to events, including Livability’s popular Carol Concert on Tues 10 December.

The Livability team went on to write and send out Christmas cards to supporters, thanking them for their donations. ‘We wish we could personally contact every supporter but we send our heartfelt thanks and Christmas greetings,’ Mark says. ‘Everything you bring – each donor, volunteer, church and Friends group – all adds up to Livability enabling people to live they life they want to lead.’ Check out our thanking video below.
