‘We’re proud to have Livability as our platinum charity partner. Livability is a charity that believes in the power of community and participation to overcome isolation. Too many people in our society face unnecessary barriers in their lives – and disabled people are often hardest hit. We are really excited about Livability joining Parallel London in its inaugural year and the potential of what we can achieve together.’
Lord Shaftesbury, Parallel Ambassador and Friend to Livability said:
‘Livability is a charity with a rich heritage of disability provision social inclusion and community work. Our shared roots trace back to the courageous and pioneering social responses of those who have gone before. I know Livability is a charity that places the needs and aspirations of the people it supports front and centre of all its innovative work today. I look forward to Parallel London and encourage people to get behind Livability’s cause and this event.’
