Livability invites you to join the One Million Steps Challenge

December 2 2020

Livability invites you to make a bold start to the New Year by joining the One Million Steps Challenge.

This charity fundraiser is encouraging people to walk one million steps in 100 days, totting up to over 500 miles. The Challenge starts on 1 January 2021 and will give supporters the chance to get out and shake off the cobwebs, get fit and feel great.

Your support will make a vital difference to Livability’s work. ‘Our costs have risen steeply – PPE bills alone account for hundreds of thousands of pounds,’ says Chief Executive Sally Chivers. ‘But the necessary cancellation of big fundraising events means our income has dropped sharply and significantly too.’

‘By supporting our work through One Million Steps, you will enable us to keep on caring for the hundreds of people with disabilities we support every day. Please take those million steps for them.’

Find out more about the challenge to join or share with friends. If you want to do the Challenge with a community, join the Facebook challenge page here, where you can also find tips, inspiration and motivation
