Government launches “Disability Confident” campaign

July 18 2013

The Government wants to encourage companies to employ more disabled people.

The new “Disability Confident” campaign highlights the benefits of a diverse workforce where people with disabilities are fully included.

As part of the campaign they have launched a new online portal where employers can find information and support to increase their knowledge of how to make their workplace more accessible.  The portal can be accessed here

The resource also gives information on the help available, such as the Access to Work scheme, when it comes to the employment of disabled people.

The campaign also features a series of YouTube videos.
