We’ll be joining in the fun as people around the UK find fun ways to celebrate this special extended Bank Holiday weekend, from June 2-5.
By hosting The Big Jubilee Lunch at our services, we’re sharing in The Big Lunch annual celebration, to encourage people to overcome anxiety and loneliness, get sociable and get to know each other better.
Livability services are celebrating together in hubs and the aim is for all services to take part, with big or small celebrations, at a service or in the community.
Celebrations can take place any time over the Platinum Jubilee weekend – 2-5 June – and you’re not limited to a lunch. Alternatives are a coffee morning, a barbeque with neighbours, 70’s themed quiz, tea-dance in your community hall or full-on street party!
All Livability celebrations will be listed on the official The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee website: https://platinumjubilee.gov.uk/events/ Find out if a service near you is taking part, and get involved.
Whether you want to have an intimate dinner party, coffee morning with friends, barbeque with neighbours, 70’s themed quiz, tea-dance in your community hall or full-on street party, we can help you to make your event safe, legal, a great fundraiser and brilliant fun!
The Big Jubilee Lunch supports our work in several ways:
Livability’s fundraising and communications teams are co-ordinating the event across Livability. We can help you to make your event safe, legal, a great fundraiser and brilliant fun!
