The Livability Staff Awards
25th April 2018

The Livability Staff Awards showcase the contribution of our amazing staff and volunteers around the Livability community. They will be held on 25th April 2018. Hosted by Livability and with awards signed by our charity patron HRH The Princess Royal – the event is an important moment in our charity calendar.

From care and support workers, cleaners and administration teams, volunteers or team leaders – the awards celebrate achievement, attitude and values-driven performance.

The staff awards will be a rich celebration of amazing people and the wonderful stories of how they are making it all add up for the people they support or serve.

Each person has put Livability’s values in to action. We look forward to celebrating how people have been open, enabling, inclusive and courageous.

Special guests on the evening:
announcing our new Vice Patron

We are delighted that this year, our special guest will see Nick Ashley Cooper – the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury make the presentation of the staff awards.

Celebrating our winners – the Award categories

Winners of our award categories are invited to attend the awards event, where they will be presented with a framed certificate and an engraved, commemorative award signed by HRH The Princess Royal.

The Royal Awards

This year, there will be six royal awards presented, which have been officially signed by HRH The Princess Royal, for:

  • Outstanding Staff Achievement
  • Outstanding Staff Achievement (Team)
  • Outstanding Supporter & Volunteer
  • Amazing Achievement

This year HRH is not in attendance at the awards, but has been pleased to give the Palace’s full endorsement for the event and acknowledge the achievements of each winner.

The Trustee awards

This year, a series of 12 Trustee Awards will also be given to people in the above categories.

We also profile the story of each winner through our charity blog, organise a special photoshoot and work with you to share your story in local press.

Who is attending the event?

The event will have a wide range of guests, from staff winners, volunteers, the people that use our services, supporters, trustees and VPS from the Livability community.

Event attendance is by invitation. We will be sending out official invites and instructions on email and post in the weeks ahead.

As Vice Patron of Livability, I am proud to know first-hand how that founding vision continues to inspire the charity’s staff and volunteers today.

Nick Ashley Cooper, 12th Earl of Shaftesbury
