In this first edition of the year, we take love as our theme.
Love has many facets, as described in the famous passage in 1 Corinthians 13, and from now until April, the Prayer Diary will help us to reflect on the expressions of love seen throughout the Livability community. It might be seen in the way a busy manager takes time to connect with someone whose communication takes longer, the practical love lived out every day in our services by those who provide care or domestic support, or the people with disabilities we support who contribute to their local community as volunteers.
Don’t forget to watch the video prayers that people we support and others have recorded to share with you. You’ll find the links on pp4, 8 and 12 in this edition.
We hope you feel even more involved with our work through this Prayer Diary and we want to say how much we value your faithful prayer support. At Livability, we talk about how what we do makes life ‘add up’ for people with disabilities – a good life is a sum of many things, big and small – and your prayers are part of that sum.
