This summer, artists were invited to create and donate a postcard-size image in any medium, on the theme of bee-friendly flowers and plants. This inclusive project inspired work from artists young and old, professional and amateur, reflecting Flourish’s diverse and inclusive ethos.
The initiative is supporting Flourish’s annual fundraising activities, which have been forced to move online due to the pandemic. These funds provide vital support for Flourish, which is based at Livability’s wellbeing discovery centre Holton Lee, near Poole.
Flourish supports individuals who live with disability or mental health challenges, engaging and training people in horticulture and eco-skills, conservation and crafts. It also welcomes the public to enjoy its 350 acres of outstanding natural landscape and wildlife.
