Business Academy event for disabled entrepreneurs

Are you thinking of starting your own business? are you looking for advice and support?

The Livability Enterprise Agency, in collaboration with Natwest and Scope, are organising a free Business Academy event for people with disabilities who are thinking of becoming self-employed.

The event will take place on Thursday 13 February 2014, 5pm to 8pm at the RBS Headquarters, 250 Bishopgate, London, EC2M 4AA.

If you’ve dreamt of setting up your own business, or you’ve already taken the plunge and started a company, come along to our Business Academy and get face to face advice from business experts including:

  • NatWest Business Team
  • South London Export Club
  • Scope
  • Plus many others.

Our guest speaker will be Paul Carter, self-employed film-maker, journalist, presenter and founder of Littleman Media production company, who will talk about his experiences of being disabled and self-employed in the creative industries.

Free seminars at the event include:

  • 6pm – Registering your business with Companies House
  • 6.40pm – Funding to start your own business
  • 7.20pm – Social media and business.
