Disabled people in North London can now benefit from an even wider range of support, either free or at subsidised rates, provided by Livability’s London Lifestyle Choices service.
London Lifestyle Choices is a comprehensive one to one service that provides care and practical support to disabled people in their own home as well as helping them lead a fuller life outside their home.
The service can support disabled people in doing activities they enjoy in their local community, help them make friends and access sporting, learning or leisure activities. In the home, it can help with: managing money; diet and nutrition; paperwork; liaising with social care professionals; personal care and hygiene and much more.
The service is now able to offer 1-2-1 assistance as:
• Free initial assessment
• Free use of the service for a period of six months, then a 50% rate will apply for the next six months.
The service also now offers small, subsidised activity groups.
The London Lifestyle Choices service is funded by The Big Lottery Fund and The City Bridge Trust.
