Based in Norwich, John Grooms Court is a spacious and modern home for around 29 disabled adults. The aim at JGC is to develop and maintain independence for our residents.

Your home

Despite the large, spacious rooms and wide corridors, John Grooms Court has a cosy and homely feel. Each of our twenty-nine self-contained flats have their own front door, and everyone has a key to the communal facilities in the main building.

Two of the flats are equipped with environmental controls including automated windows, lighting and heating to help assist with independent living.

Each flat can be decorated as you like, and includes:

  • Bedroom/living room
  • Kitchen (fully fitted)
  • Bath or shower room with toilet
  • Small balcony
  • Wide access doorways and spacious corridors

Communal facilities include:

  • A spacious communal dining and activity room
  • A large communal lounge area with conservatory
  • Parker baths with Jacuzzi function on each floor
  • A large shower room
  • Pleasant patio area
Lifestyle & opportunities

An in-house activities organiser arranges activities such as cooking, craftwork, bingo, film evenings, and social discussion groups. Outings on offer include shopping, cinema, bowling, swimming, pub visits and theatre trips.
