Livability Charity Golf Day in Croydon a
triumph
The Livability annual Charity Golf Day took place on Friday 25
June 2010 on the 205 acre championship course at Selsdon Park
Hotel and Golf Club in Croydon.
The event was a great success and managed to raise over £2000 for the charity which will help its crucial work supporting people with disabilities.
In sweltering temperatures of 30°C, 5 teams completed the 18-hole course and took part in a series of individual challenges. The overall winning team was Total Office for the second year running.
The final result was: 1st place: Total Office (80 points);
2nd place: Alexander Forbes (78); 3rd place: Punter Southall
(74); 4th place: Credit Agricole (69)
5th place: PKF (65). The nearest pin was achieved by David Hill
(Punter Southall) and the longest drive by Julian Lappert
(PKF).
The Charity Golf Day ended with an evening gala dinner and prize ceremony. Each year the event is an opportunity for businesses to display their golfing talent and help raise much-needed funds to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
John Thurgood, Account Manager at Total Office said: '' Total Office wanted to take part in the golf day because we know this is a great way of helping Livability to continue providing much needed care and support for the disabled community. We really enjoyed the day and we are pleased to be the winning team.''

The money raised will help people with disabilities live life
to the full.
