Hardest Hit march
Disabled people, their family and friends were encouraged to take part in a demonstration on 11 May 2011 to protest against the funding cuts threatening benefits, services, jobs and rights for disabled people. Livability was one of the organisations that supported the march.
The ”Hardest Hit” march was organised by the United Kingdom Disabled People Council, the Disability Benefit Consortium (of which Livability is a member) and various disability organisations.
